This conference offers opportunities for medical professionals to enhance their knowledge of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) through Continuing Medical Education credits. Attendees will learn about the exciting progress in understanding the biology of SMA which has led to new therapeutic strategies and clinical trials.

Experts from around the country will focus on key clinical areas of SMA: diagnosis, pulmonary care, gastrointestinal and nutritional issues and orthopedics and rehabilitation. Participants will have opportunities for interaction with course presenters who will discuss the wide spectrum of clinical severity of SMA and how to improve care for patients.

CME and Other Credits

The Emory University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category .7 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity.
